International Air Shippers’ Association (IASA) is a non-profit global trade association established to promote, safeguard and protect the interests of its members. The pivotal aim of the association is the integration of the activities of its members scattered across the world & to provide them with a common platform to interact with each other so as to ensure efficient, speedy and secured transportation of their shipments by air. The association represents its members in national and international organizations and regulatory bodies to help furtherance of their growth and success in the international trade & commerce. The association extends all support to its members in generating millions of jobs in order to enhance and strengthen their business interests. In addition the association also ensures that its supply chain associates maintain high standards of service for a safe & secured transport of their shipment by air.

Air Shipment generates $ 70 billion every year:-

According to industry sources, air shipment of goods constitutes 35 percent of the global trade by value though only less than 1 percent by volume. The total value of goods transported by air in 2016 was in excess of $6.8 trillion which was equivalent to $ 18.6 billion worth of goods every day. Air freight is an important component of the aviation industry which supports 57 million jobs worldwide. The air freight industry generates $ 70 billion every year.
